Overview

Previously the Shangri-La Vancouver, the Hyatt Vancouver Downtown Alberni is perfectly situated in the heart of downtown Vancouver, where the vibrant energy of the city meets the dramatic beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Rising high above the skyline in the tallest building in Vancouver, the hotel offers sweeping views of the harbor, coastal mountains, and vibrant cityscape. The hotel’s Michelin-recommended and recently renovated restaurant Carlino celebrates cuisine of northern Italy. Following a multi-million-dollar redesign of the hotel’s 119 guestrooms, public spaces and spa, the hotel will be rebranded and is expected to join the Park Hyatt brand in 2026.
